Picnic in Green Park

After a shitty day in southeast (got told off by two strangers for 'throwing butter' on to a table and then got screamed at by a man for asking if he wanted help up the stairs at the train station) I decided it was time for a change of scenery and went up to Green Park to hang out in the sun with some nice people and ended up having a really lovely Thursday despite all the crazies over here.

Last few days

Apologies for not updating much lately but have been so busy running around London trying to cram in as many different experiences as possible before heading home in July! The plan for tonight is a super-posh club in Mayfair, should be interesting and definitely something new...

A Midsummer's Night Dream

Tomorrow I am going to celebrate Midsummer at Primrose Hill and then go watch 'A Midsummer's Night Dream' at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre. But today, I'm going to be homesick and dream about maypoles, making daisy-chains, skinny dipping and all those things that belong to midsummer. Can't wait to go home to Sweden in a few weeks!

A Day at the Museum

Decided to hop on the bus today and finally make the 10-minute ride to Forest Hill and The Horniman Museum. I am constantly amazed how many cool things there are here in South London (where barely any tourists go).

The museum is filled with artefacts collected by a Victorian tea-merchant on his many travels, mainly to Asia and Africa, and is really fascinating. Apart from the museum, which is free, there was also an aquarium and a beautiful garden with a breathtaking view over London. Would definitely recommend going there!
